## Overview

Matterly is self-hosted law firm management software: case and matter management, a client portal, legal billing and AI document automation with e-signatures, for law firms, lawyers and advocates. It is multi-tenant, so one installation runs your own legal SaaS with subscription plans and automated billing.

Its Smart Forms turn one sentence into a legal document with the fields to fill in. The client fills it in and signs online, and the signed PDF is filed on the case.
