Mock tests are what students pay for before an exam. Here is how a coaching institute or trainer can run paid online test series with certificates.

Before any competitive exam, students want one thing more than notes: practice under exam conditions. That is why mock test series sell so well. If you run a coaching institute, teach online, or train staff, you can sell timed tests directly to students instead of handing them PDFs.

What students expect from an online test

  • A real exam screen: a countdown timer, a question palette that shows answered, skipped and marked-for-review questions, and automatic submission when time runs out.
  • Exam rules: negative marking where the real exam has it, shuffled questions and options, and a limited number of attempts.
  • Results they can use: a score, a review of each answer, and advice on weak topics.
  • Proof: a certificate they can share, ideally one that anyone can verify.

Quizora covers each of these. Answers are saved automatically every 30 seconds, and the timer counts from the attempt's start time, so a refresh or a slow connection does not cost the student time.

Step 1: build your question bank faster with AI

Writing hundreds of good questions is the slowest part. Quizora's AI generator writes multiple-choice, true/false and fill-in-the-blank questions. You choose the topic, the number of questions, the difficulty, the question type and the language. Treat the output as a first draft: review each question, edit what is wrong, and keep what is good in your question bank for future tests.

For maths and science subjects, the question editor supports formulas (KaTeX) and images in both questions and answers.

Step 2: decide what is free and what is paid

A simple structure that works:

  1. One free test per subject, so students can try the platform.
  2. Paid single tests for students who want a quick check.
  3. A paid full series for serious students, with private, enrolled-only access.

Students pay online with Razorpay or Stripe. If several teachers sell tests on your platform, Quizora splits each payment automatically and keeps the commission you set per plan.

Step 3: run private batches for your classroom students

Your offline students should not have to buy each test separately. Enrolled-only exams are visible only to students you invite by email, share a join code with, or import from a CSV file. Join codes are not case-sensitive, which saves a lot of "my code does not work" messages.

Step 4: use the results

After each test, students get personal feedback on weak topics. You get the overall picture, for example which question most students got wrong, which usually means the topic needs another class. The free Gradebook add-on shows a student-by-test grid with class averages, CSV export and printable report cards.

Step 5: certificates that market for you

Students who pass get a PDF certificate with a QR code. Scanning it opens a public verification page on your site. Students share certificates on LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and every share links back to you.
